Who is LAPP Driving School?

Hi, I’m Shane – the proud operator and instructor at LAPP Driving School. With a passion for road safety and a commitment to teaching with patience and clarity, I’m here to guide new drivers through one of life’s most important milestones.

To ensure the highest standard of instruction and safety, I have completed the following training and qualifications:

  • L2P registered Supervising driver

  • Driving Instructor – Safeguarding Children training
  • Victorian Driving Instructor Authority
  • MyLearners Free Lesson registered instructor.

Learning to drive is an exciting step—but it can also feel overwhelming. That’s why I focus on building confidence, skills, and road awareness in a supportive and calm environment. Every lesson is tailored to help learners not just pass a driving test, but develop safe driving habits for life.

Apply the skills and knowledge in a manner that will allow drivers to safely navigate a wide variety of driving environments.

Pass the VicRoads driving test in order to gain a probationary driver licence.

Practice the best driving methods taught and developed within the Learner Permit period throughout their driving futures.

Services

Driving Lessons

Learner drivers under 21 years of age are required to complete 120 hours of supervised driving prior to attempting a driving test. Professional driving lessons are highly recommended to be included within this time in order for learner drivers to gain a wide range of driving experience for both VicRoads testing and the necessary skills and experience require for solo driving.

Lesson and Test Pricing:

Single 1 hour Lesson: $70*

5 x 1 hour Lesson Package: $325

Driving lesson package (45 minutes pre-test lesson plus driving test): $225

* Discounts will be applied if package is purchased after a single lesson

Driving Tests

Once a learner driver turns 18, completes the mandatory 120 hours of supervised driving and other prerequisites specified by VicRoads , they will be eligible to book in a Probationary License Test.

LAPP driving school can advise the learner driver’s readiness to take the test as well as performing preparation for and taking the test.

Other Services

Learning to drive is more than just passing a VicRoads driving test. Throughout the pre-test driving lessons, I will strive to expose new drivers to a high variety of environments, conditions and experiences.

Experienced drivers know that passing the VicRoads Probationary License test is simply reaching base camp of driving. The mountain of learning has just commenced. LAPP Driving School stives to prepare new drivers to tackle the challenges ahead.

I will always be happy to assist my current and former clients with information regarding road laws, clarify unusual scenarios and car maintenance and management advise

Hands on car maintenance assistance include;
